Ensemble Elan provides live classical music for weddings and special events. Since 1997, we have played in dozens of venues in the Washington, D.C. Metro area for hundreds of satisfied clients. Each event is greeted with the same enthusiasm as if it were our first -- because we love to play the songs that are meaningful to you!

And while we are a classical ensemble in instrumentation, we pride ourselves on bringing a modern flair to our repertoire. Beyond the the timeless classics we also incorporate contemporary pop tunes, jazz standards, tangos, Italian love songs, R&B, the Beatles, Motown as well as the latest from the Vitamin String Quartet.
